Symbolism in Three Colours Red

I have looked in a lot of places on the net, and found a few suggestions that the Judge may represent God  (including IMDB forums and this link: http://www.thefilmjournal.com/issue7/red.html

- but nowhere has anyone cottoned onto the fact that:

There are 7 stones on the piano
There are 7 puppies born to Rita
There are 7 survivors of the ferry disaster

There are just over 1400 people on the ferry...

777 is the number of God, and 1400 was the number of the 12 tribes of Israel in Revelations...

I think people are missing this!!
