More Theatre...it's such a drug!! Must be careful or I'll be spirited away...

Got up at about 3pm yesterday...in SO much pain from all the controlled falling over at Weird Cabaret rehearsals on wednesday evening...my thighs hurt!!!

Went to theatre for 'A-Live' at 6:45 (got a lift), and met up with lots of old panto crowd, plus a few new faces...we worked on eye contact exercises, posture and the like...basic 'get to know you' stuff...then spent about half an hour discussing what theatre meant to us, and what we thought it is trying to achieve etc etc etc.

Was a very good session, for a first one there was excellent group rapport...looking forward to working with them all with the experimental stuff for Theatre-Do in May.

Might also join the 'Race, Identity and Culture' group that meets on a Thursday afternoon, since it will also tie in with what 'A-Live' are discovering for Theatre-Do.

Depends if I can get to theatre for 2pm every Thursday...don't see why not though.

Went to work at 9pm...irritating as the A-Live sessions are 7-10 rather than the usual 6-9, so I had to dip off early. Spent the night idly flicking screens on Duty Obs and telling people where to go...the mail volumes were really low, so they let us out at 4am.

Back at home now, nice cup of tea...no plans for Friday during the day, but Saturday I am off to the Arts Centre Cinema with Jui-ehh!!! to see Hayao Miyazaki's 'Spirited Away'...really looking forward to seeing it.

I've read a fair bit about it and seen clips on tv...it was the first anime to win an Oscar for best animation in 2003 and has also won almost every other award I know of for animation...including the International Animated Film Society’s Annie Award and the Broadcast Film Critics Association’s Critics’ Choice Award...

The storyline itself is fascinating...just the sort of thing to interest me... it's a fairly simple "Alice in Wonderland" type of story about a girl who becomes "trapped in a magical world and is forced to take on adult responsibilities to save herself and her parents, who have been turned into pigs by a witch..."

I'm very excited to see it as you can imagine!!!

Will probably go out on the piss afterwards...that's the plan anyhow;)

Well I'd better get to bed, I'm a bit tired after theatre and a night of work (first day in a week lol).

Ahh nice cup of tea!!!

Hooble Toodle Doo!!
