At least 'Love Like Blood' was played and I fell over for the Timewarp as is traditional...

Last night was the first time I've been to BlackCatz since last September!! Mike and I didn't turn up till about eleven as we'd been out drinking in the evening, I'd fallen asleep and woken up cranky not wanting to go... Consequentially shoved on an old black velvet mediaval dress which probably could have done with a wash and went out in a rush - had intended to don corsetry, floofy skirt and spend ages on my makeup but hey - I ended up opting for the bedwitch instead lol!!

I was really glad we went tho - even though the music seems to have been taken over by EBM-Man who is too old as well... I missed being stuck on the dancefloor for classic after classic - instead it was about two hours of the bleepy stuff that I put on when I'm at work needing to type fast or at home needing to tidy. I don't want to listen to it in a club and I certainly can't dance to it as I'm a classic floor-wanderer type...

And I ran screaming when Evanescence got played:/

Despite the music, I had the pleasure of finally meeting harlotqueen and joysilence - they were really really lovely (I want your boots!!...) and I enjoyed talking with them (you hehe) - must catch up again soon... Also spent some time being talked to by a bouncy-skinny-stick-girl who was lovely but I have no idea who she was properly - is on my website apparently... and catching up with Moon, Justin/Becky, Lawrence/Emma, Kiz/Julie, Spiky Karen, Nik/(gf whose name I don't know), Rich, Matrix Si, Keith, adorable_dibble, wildgift93, and the rest (lots of peeps) - inc the guy who works in Threshers whose name I can never remember...

Mike and I had a great night and walked home at 2am rather too energetically, talking to some random student along the way about how you aren't supposed to read - you are supposed to pretend with cool books...

Probably got to sleep at about 5am - have just woken up now and Mike is hastily packing up drum kit to go to a practice this afternoon and is in the studio tommorrow... I need a cup of tea;)
