Got home from work at six-ish, went to sleep round seven-ish - got up about twelve-ish... Walked down to Mutley Plain - took in POSH PICNIC films (should have them back tommorrow) and had my SLR (VaderCam) checked over. Walked down to the CFE and got to college by two-ish - Met Clara, a few others and a friendly chap called Gerard in the refectory, then spent ages getting my library account sorted out so I can have access to the Film Studies resources...
Took out the following books which I have had to lug about all sodding afternoon:
Film Editing: The Art of the Expressive (Valerie Orpen - Short Cuts Series)
Film Directing Shot by Shot: Visualising from concept to screen (Steven D. Katz)
Oxford Guide to Film Studies (Ed. John Hill/Pamela Church Gibson)
The Five C's of Cinematography: Motion Picture Filming Techniques (Joseph V. Mascelli)
An Introduction to Film Studies (Ed. Jill Nelmes)
The 35mm Handbook (Michael Freeman)
Seriously weighty tomes each and every one, and I now have backache...
(and Amazon temptation...)
Got home from College at about six in the evening, then spent FORTY FIVE MINUTES in a queue to O2 to get my mobile bill/restriction sorted out... After waiting all that time I'm told their systems are down and to call back later...
Anywho - It's seven-thirty now, I have to find something to eat, have to print off some stuff as well... Then I'm off to work at 9pm as usual, dragging my arse in at 6am tommorrow, and I'm doing the same all over again - NUS cards to sort out, films to collect, things to buy, people to see, blah de blah de blah...
I suppose I'd better take these books to my room now, before I clutter up the Dining Room table lol!!
*staggers off trying to peer over the top of the pile*
